Bergen County Limo Service

Air Brook started in Bergen County in 1971, and our Bergen County limo service still runs from our office and garage on Overlook Avenue in Rochelle Park, in the middle of the county, where dispatch answers 24 hours a day. For people who live and work here, that means a local team timing early flights out of Newark, private departures from Teterboro, and evenings that begin at a venue in one town and end at a home in another.

In 2021, readers of 201 Magazine voted Air Brook the best limo service in their Best of Bergen awards.

Picking the Right Airport From Your Part of Bergen County

Four airports are within reach of Bergen County, and each one suits a different kind of trip:

  • Newark Liberty (EWR) is the main airline airport in northern New Jersey. From most of the county our chauffeurs take the Garden State Parkway or Route 17 south to the New Jersey Turnpike, and we run rides to and from Newark Liberty for every town in the county.
  • Teterboro (TEB) serves private and charter flights and is about four miles from our office, and we handle private-aviation pickups at Teterboro for clients from every part of the county.
  • LaGuardia (LGA) and JFK are across the Hudson. For rides to LaGuardia or trips out to JFK, we set the pickup time around traffic on the George Washington Bridge, which backs up onto the local streets of Fort Lee at rush hour.
  • Westchester County (HPN), across the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge, can be a shorter drive than Newark from the northernmost towns, such as Mahwah, Montvale and Old Tappan, so flights from Westchester County Airport are worth comparing when the choice is still open.

At Teterboro, our chauffeurs go most often to Signature Flight Support, Atlantic Aviation, Jet Aviation, and Meridian. The chauffeur waits in the FBO lobby with a name sign. When the FBO permits ramp access and it is arranged in advance, the car can meet the aircraft directly on the ramp. A group flying private can easily bring more luggage than a sedan holds, and a passenger van for the ride to Teterboro keeps everyone and every bag in one vehicle.

One client booked the van for three couples heading to Teterboro and wrote afterward:

“I used Air Brook’s Van option going to Teterboro with three couples and many bags. It was comfortable, timely and the driver was careful and courteous.” (Steven B., Google review)

When Your Flight Lands at Newark and You Are Heading Home to Bergen

Dispatch tracks every airline arrival and delay, so the pickup moves with the actual landing time rather than the time printed on the ticket.

That is how one client’s pickup stayed on schedule after a return flight ran more than three hours late:

“Excellent service, pick ups were right on time, even when our return flight was over 3 hours late.” (Scott L., Google review)

After a domestic landing, the chauffeur waits up to 60 minutes at no extra charge, and after an international landing up to 90 minutes, which leaves time for passport control and baggage claim. For pickups that are not at an airport, the free waiting time is 15 minutes, and waiting after that is billed by the minute.

A client coming home from Newark described that part of the trip in his Google review:

“Booked with AirBrook to take me from EWR to Bergen County. … driver texted me on arrival and waited for me to go through customs and collect my bag.” (Dan F., Google review)

Families traveling with children, extra luggage or pets have room to ride together. Child seats are available for $15 each and the parent installs the seat; pets travel in a crate or carrier, and service animals ride free. One parent noted that the car arrived on time with the car seats ready.

Booking the drive from Bergen County to Newark Airport as a round trip means the ride home is confirmed before you leave. Across all of our trips, clients have given Air Brook a 4.9 rating on Google from more than 870 reviews.

Sample Fares for Car Service to Bergen County From Teterboro, Newark and Westchester

  • Newark Airport (EWR) to Bergen Community College in Paramus: $127.84*

*Estimated one-way prices for a standard sedan from our online booking form (September 2026). The final price depends on the date, time and route; tolls and parking are added, and a gratuity of at least 15% is added to every reservation. Your quote confirms the fare for your exact address.

How Pickups Differ Across Bergen County, From Route 17 to the Meadowlands

Our Bergen County car service covers all 70 municipalities in the county. What changes from one part of the county to another is the road network, the crossing into New York, and the airport that makes the most sense. These are the drive times to Newark our dispatch plans with, and the pickup time we suggest before a domestic morning flight:

Part of the county Normal traffic Rush hour Suggested pickup
Rochelle Park, Paramus, Hackensack 25 to 35 min 45 to 60 min 2.5 h before the flight
Fort Lee, Englewood 25 to 35 min 45 to 65 min 2.5 h before the flight
Westwood, Montvale 35 to 45 min 55 to 75 min 2 h 45 min before
Ridgewood, Mahwah 35 to 50 min 55 to 80 min 2 h 45 min to 3 h before
Lyndhurst, Rutherford 20 to 25 min 35 to 50 min 2 h 15 min before

Rochelle Park, Paramus and the Towns Near Our Office

Rochelle Park, Paramus and Hackensack sit where Route 4, Route 17 and the Garden State Parkway meet, while Teaneck, Bogota and Ridgefield Park are close to the point where I-80 meets I-95. Pickups here include Hackensack University Medical Center, the Bergen County Courthouse, Holy Name Medical Center and Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, along with many home pickups for the airports. Route 4 and Route 17 in Paramus slow down on weekend afternoons and through December because of the malls, so for Westfield Garden State Plaza we agree on a specific mall entrance in advance.

Fort Lee, Englewood and the Palisades

In Fort Lee, Edgewater, Englewood Cliffs, Englewood, Tenafly, Cresskill, Alpine and Bergenfield, the George Washington Bridge is the usual crossing for rides to LaGuardia, JFK and Manhattan. We pick up at the office buildings along Sylvan Avenue (Route 9W) in Englewood Cliffs, at hotels in Fort Lee and Edgewater, at Englewood Hospital, and at homes in Tenafly, Cresskill and Alpine, and we allow extra time for any pickup near the bridge.

The Pascack Valley Towns Along the Train Line

Westwood, Emerson, Park Ridge, Woodcliff Lake and Montvale have stations on NJ Transit’s Pascack Valley Line, so a ride home can be booked from the station for the time your train gets in, and River Vale sits just east of the line. Besides the stations, we pick up at the Park Ridge Marriott and the office parks in Montvale and Woodcliff Lake. The Garden State Parkway is the fastest way south, but it slows near the Route 17 and Route 4 exits in the morning, so for a 6 a.m. flight we pick up earlier than most people expect.

Ridgewood to Mahwah in Northwest Bergen

From Ridgewood, Glen Rock and Ho-Ho-Kus up to Wyckoff, Franklin Lakes, Oakland, Saddle River, Upper Saddle River, Ramsey and Mahwah, northwest Bergen has some of the longest drives in the county to Newark, and Route 17 south is slow from 7 to 9 a.m. Regular pickups include the Ridgewood and Ramsey train stations, the restaurants of downtown Ridgewood, Ramapo College in Mahwah and the office parks off Route 17 and I-287. Some homes in Saddle River and Franklin Lakes are on private roads or behind gates, so we ask for the gate code or a meeting point when you book.

Lyndhurst, Rutherford and the Meadowlands

Lyndhurst, Rutherford, Lodi and Ridgefield are the Bergen towns closest to Newark Airport. We pick up at the Lyndhurst and Rutherford NJ Transit stations and the office buildings along Route 17 and in the Meadowlands, and on game and concert days, when Route 17 and Route 3 jam up around MetLife Stadium and American Dream, we plan a different route or more time.

Northern Valley Boroughs Along the New York State Line

In the Northern Valley, we serve Haworth, Old Tappan, Rockleigh and Norwood, along with Closter, Harrington Park, Northvale and Demarest. Most rides here are home pickups for early flights. The narrow, wooded roads are the first to get icy in winter, so we allow extra time on cold mornings, and a few extra minutes on school mornings. Because these towns sit on the New York state line, LaGuardia and Westchester County Airport are often as close as Newark:

From Newark (EWR) LaGuardia (LGA) Westchester (HPN)
Haworth 45 to 55 min (1 h 5 to 1 h 30 at rush hour) 45 to 60 min (1 h 15 to 1 h 40) 40 to 50 min (55 to 75 min)
Old Tappan 45 to 60 min (about 1 h 30 at rush hour) 45 to 60 min (about 1 h 30) 35 to 45 min
Rockleigh 45 to 55 min (1 h to 1 h 20 at rush hour) 40 to 50 min (1 h to 1 h 20) 30 to 40 min (45 to 60 min)
Norwood 40 to 50 min (1 h to 1 h 15 at rush hour) 35 to 45 min (55 to 75 min) Ask dispatch

Haworth Club Events and Late Returns From Manhattan

At Haworth Country Club and White Beeches Golf & Country Club, the chauffeur waits in the club’s parking lot rather than the entrance drive. About 15 minutes before you want to leave, text the chauffeur, who pulls up at the clubhouse entrance; you will already have the chauffeur’s name, cell number and a description of the car. Haworth has no train station of its own, so for a late return from Manhattan we pick up directly at your office or at the Port Authority Bus Terminal.

Old Tappan Campus Mornings and Weddings at Old Tappan Manor

Old Tappan borders New York State and is home to a campus of Northern Valley Regional High School. Weddings at Old Tappan Manor on Orangeburg Road usually run with an SUV for the couple and a 23-passenger mini bus for guests between their hotel and the Manor. The venue has its own lot, so the vehicles wait on site, the chauffeur checks in with the coordinator, and the ride home is set for about 15 minutes after the scheduled end.

Rockleigh Weddings and Golf on Paris Avenue

The Rockleigh and Rockleigh Golf Course both sit on Paris Avenue, and weddings there need guest arrivals and late departures planned around the venue schedule. Guests flying in often find LaGuardia or Westchester closer than Newark, which is worth mentioning on the invitation.

Norwood Home Pickups: LaGuardia or Newark

From Norwood, our chauffeurs take the Palisades Interstate Parkway or Route 9W down to the George Washington Bridge for LaGuardia and JFK, or head south toward Route 4 and the Turnpike for Newark. Outside rush hour, LaGuardia is usually the quicker ride for domestic flights; for international flights and weekday morning departures, when the bridge is slow, we usually suggest Newark.

Starting sedan prices for some of the trips we drive most in the Northern Valley:

  • Norwood to Newark Airport: $132.22*; Norwood to LaGuardia: $208.48*
  • Newark Airport to Haworth Country Club: $132.22*; LaGuardia to White Beeches Golf & Country Club: $208.48*
  • Newark Airport to The Rockleigh: $133.68*; LaGuardia to Rockleigh Golf Course: $209.94*

*Estimated one-way prices for a standard sedan from our online booking form (September 2026). Tolls and parking are added, and a gratuity of at least 15% is added to every reservation.

Weddings, Concerts, Meetings and School Trips Around Bergen County

Beyond airport runs, our limousine service in Bergen County works around the county’s venues, campuses and business districts:

  • couples marrying at The Rockleigh, The Venetian in Garfield or Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, with wedding transportation that keeps the couple and the wedding party on the day’s schedule
  • performers, guests and organizers heading to bergenPAC in Englewood, where concert transportation gives VIPs their own space and teams the coordination they need behind the scenes
  • galas and company events at the Teaneck Marriott at Glenpointe, and executives moving between meetings across Paramus and Teaneck with chauffeured rides between client meetings
  • students, faculty and chaperones traveling to Bergen Community College and Ramapo College, with school and campus group transportation
  • school trips and family outings to the Bergen County Zoo in Van Saun County Park, Paramus, with group transportation that keeps everyone arriving together

For MetLife Stadium and American Dream, we set a clear meeting point in advance and suggest a pickup 30 to 45 minutes after the event ends, when the worst traffic has cleared; the full game-day plan is on our page about private rides to MetLife Stadium. For limo service in Bergen County, NJ, the vehicle follows the size of the group, from a sedan or an SUV with room to stretch out to a 55-passenger motorcoach for large events, all from our own chauffeured fleet.

Book Your Bergen County Limo or Car Service

To quote and schedule your Bergen County limo service, dispatch needs four details. Booking the evening before is fine for an early flight; for groups and holiday weekends, the earlier the better.

  1. the date and pickup time, or your flight number for an airport pickup
  2. the pickup address and the destination, with a gate code or meeting point if you have one
  3. how many people are traveling and how many bags they are bringing
  4. any stops along the way, child seats, a pet or other requests

Dispatch answers around the clock at (800) 800-1990 and info@airbrook.com, or you can send the details through our online reservation form.

Early Flights, Private Jets, Late Trains and Snow: Questions From Bergen Clients

Is there an extra charge for a 4 a.m. pickup for an early Newark flight?

Yes. Pickups scheduled between midnight and 4:59 a.m. carry a $25 late-night surcharge plus gratuity, so it is worth keeping in mind when you book one of the first flights of the day.

How does waiting work when a private flight lands at Teterboro?

Private flights are not tracked, so wait time counts from the scheduled pickup time. If the arrival time or the FBO changes, a quick call or text to dispatch from the passenger, an assistant or the crew is enough, and we move the chauffeur’s time.

Can the chauffeur meet me at the station after a late NJ Transit train?

Yes. Book the pickup at the station and tell us which train you plan to take. Trains are not tracked either, so if you switch to a later train, let dispatch know and the pickup moves with you.

What happens to my ride when snow is in the forecast?

The afternoon before a storm, dispatch goes through the next day’s early rides and calls or texts clients with early airport pickups, usually suggesting a departure 15 to 30 minutes earlier. If the governor declares a state of emergency, rides may be moved or canceled for safety, and we let you know as early as we can.
