Paramus Limo Service

Getting around Paramus often means sitting in traffic longer than expected, especially on Routes 17 and 4 during peak shopping hours. Short trips can quickly stretch near the big retail areas, where congestion builds throughout the day. That is why we plan our Paramus car service with local traffic patterns in mind, building in buffer time so you are not watching the clock. Instead of guessing how long a drive might take, your schedule with Air Brook reflects how this borough moves: busy, unpredictable, and constantly shifting.

Our office and garage are right next door, at 18 Overlook Avenue in Rochelle Park, a few minutes from Westfield Garden State Plaza. When a Paramus pickup comes up at the last minute, a car is often only a few minutes away, and the same garage covers Hackensack and the rest of Bergen County. Being this close also helps when a day changes shape, whether you booked a Paramus limo for an evening out or a sedan for a meeting.

One client called dispatch when a meeting wrapped up an hour early and found the car was already coming:

“My meeting ended an hour earlier than expected, and upon calling the dispatcher, was informed that the driver was already on his way. He arrived as I reached my pick up point.” (Joy T., Google review)

Where Paramus Meets the Runway: TEB, Newark, LaGuardia and JFK

Airport rides are the largest part of our car service in Paramus, NJ, and getting to the airport from here often comes down to timing. Teterboro is the closest, usually 15 to 20 minutes away, and Newark Liberty takes 25 to 35 minutes when the roads are clear. These are the drive times our dispatch plans with, and the pickup time we suggest before a morning flight:

Paramus to Normal traffic Rush hour Suggested pickup before a morning flight
Teterboro (TEB) 15 to 20 min 25 to 30 min About 45 min before a private departure
Newark (EWR) 25 to 35 min 45 to 60 min 2.5 h before a domestic flight, 3.5 h before an international one
LaGuardia (LGA) 45 to 55 min 70 to 90 min 3 h before a domestic flight, 3.5 h before an international one
JFK 65 to 80 min 1 h 30 min to 1 h 45 min 3.5 h before a domestic flight, 4 h before an international one

For private departures from Teterboro, private flights are not tracked, so if the departure or arrival time moves, a quick call or text to dispatch is enough and we move the chauffeur’s time. For flights in and out of Newark Liberty and the New York airports, your agenda stays aligned with your flight: we track airline updates and adjust the pickup when a flight is delayed or lands early. After landing, the chauffeur waits up to 60 minutes at no charge for a domestic flight and up to 90 minutes for an international arrival, so you are not rushed through the airport. If you would like extra guidance on arrival, the chauffeur can meet you inside the terminal with a name sign; ask for it when you book, and the meet and greet charge is added to your quote.

Every airport ride is now private, booked only for your own party and at the pickup time you choose. The shared Air Brook shuttle that once ran to Newark on a fixed schedule no longer operates.

A longtime rider of that shuttle wrote about moving over to our private cars once it closed:

“The Airbrook Newark Shuttle is closed … I have been using Airbrook Limo, and it has been very convenient. Driver is always on time or early, always friendly, courteous service.” (Jan B., Google review)

Mall Entrances, Route 17 Hotels and Paramus Road: Meeting Your Chauffeur

Paramus has more store entrances and hotel driveways than most towns, so a precise meeting point saves minutes. These are the places we go most, with what helps the chauffeur find you:

  • Westfield Garden State Plaza: tell us the store or entrance you will walk out of, and the chauffeur waits at that entrance. Saturdays and December weekends are the slowest times on Routes 4 and 17.
  • Courtyard by Marriott Paramus and the other Route 17 hotels: the chauffeur waits at the front entrance or in the lobby. Route 17 relies on jughandles, where one wrong turn costs a few minutes, so we plan the route to arrive on the hotel’s side of the highway.
  • Paramus Park: on Route 17 north, with the chauffeur at the main entrance you name.
  • Bergen Community College on Paramus Road: give us the building, and the chauffeur stops at the closest lot.
  • The Terrace on Paramus Road: for weddings and events, the couple or guest of honor is dropped at the main entrance, and the cars wait in the venue’s lot.
  • Bergen Town Center on Route 4: an occasional pickup; at the entrance you name; weekend afternoons there are busy.

Stores in Paramus are closed on Sundays, so traffic around the malls is light that day, while Saturdays bring the heaviest crowds of the week.

Hotel Guests, Company Events and Wedding Days in Paramus

Besides airport rides, most of our Paramus work is business travel: visitors staying at the Route 17 hotels who need a car between the airport, the hotel, and their meetings. When a company brings in a group, we plan the whole move with transportation for meetings and company events. A typical example: about 20 guests staying at two Route 17 hotels, taken to dinner together in a 23-passenger mini bus, while a sedan carried the speaker to and from Newark Airport.

When guests or staff need to move between hotels, offices, and venues several times, we arrange a shuttle on request instead of a fixed loop. You tell us the stops, the times and the number of people, and we suggest the vehicle, whether a passenger van, a Mercedes Sprinter or a mini bus, and send a quote. In Paramus, these are occasional and set up for companies and events, the same way we run scheduled shuttles for businesses elsewhere in New Jersey.

Picking the vehicle is part of that conversation, and one client appreciated the advice on the right size for their group:

“The reservation process was great – we received wonderful advice determining what size vehicle for our group! And we were able to easily move-up our reservation when we decided we should get to the airport early!” (Justine G., Google review)

Weddings at The Terrace are the next most frequent request for our limo service in Paramus, NJ. The couple’s car stays in sync with the day’s timeline, and our wedding transportation covers the moves between ceremony, photos, and reception. Team trips with equipment are occasional, and we plan them around roster size and gear through our game day transportation for teams and fans. For a single traveler or a couple, a sedan with a quiet cabin for calls is the usual choice, and an SUV with room for bags and extra passengers suits families and airport runs with luggage.

Reserving Your Ride from Paramus

To book car service in Paramus, NJ, send dispatch these details, and for a same-day ride, call instead of writing so we can check which car is free. Across all of our trips, riders have given Air Brook a 4.9 average on Google over more than 870 reviews.

  1. The ride date and the time you want to leave, or your flight number if the chauffeur is meeting you at Newark, LaGuardia, or JFK
  2. The pickup point, such as a home address, a hotel on Route 17, or the mall entrance you will use, and the destination
  3. The number of people in your party and how much luggage or shopping needs room in the trunk
  4. Extras: child seats, a pet, a meet and greet inside the terminal, or any stops along the way

Dispatch answers 24/7 at (800) 800-1990, and our local Bergen County line, 201-843-6100, is answered as well. You can also email info@airbrook.com or send the trip through our online reservation form.

Shopping Waits, Pets, Car Seats and Early Pickups in Paramus

How long will the chauffeur wait if my shopping runs long at Garden State Plaza?

Pickups that are not at an airport include 15 minutes of free waiting. After that, waiting is billed by the minute, so if you know you will be late, a call to dispatch helps us plan the rest of the chauffeur’s schedule.

Can I bring my dog on a ride from Paramus?

Yes, with notice. Pets travel in a crate or carrier; a cleaning charge applies only if the vehicle needs cleaning after the ride, and service animals ride free.

Do you provide car seats for children?

Child and booster seats can be requested in advance for $15* each, and the parent installs the seat.

Does an early pickup for a morning JFK flight from Paramus cost more?

Often, yes. Pickups between midnight and 4:59 a.m. carry a $25 surcharge plus gratuity, and since we suggest leaving Paramus 3.5 hours before a domestic JFK flight, any JFK departure before 8:30 a.m. puts the pickup in that window.
