LaGuardia Airport Car Service
LaGuardia sits in Queens, about eight miles from Midtown Manhattan, and handles mostly domestic flights. From North Jersey, it is about as far away as Newark, but every trip crosses the Hudson, so the bridges decide how long the drive takes. Most of our LaGuardia rides run to and from North Jersey, especially Bergen County, with a smaller share heading into Manhattan. Our LaGuardia Airport car service is planned around that crossing in both directions: the ride out to your flight, and the pickup that gets you home.
Where Your Chauffeur Meets You at Terminals A, B and C
Cars cannot wait at LaGuardia’s curbs, so the pickup works a little differently at each terminal. Check your terminal in the airline’s app the day before; airline flights use Terminal B or C.
- Terminal B. The chauffeur waits in the cell phone lot until you text that you have your bags, then drives to Level 2 of the Terminal B parking garage, following the pickup signs, and texts you the exact spot. Allow 5 to 10 minutes for the walk from baggage claim to the garage.
- Terminal C. The pickup area is on the arrivals level, in the inner lane. Terminal C gets very busy in the late afternoon and evening; text the chauffeur when you have your bags and the car is usually at the curb a few minutes later.
- Terminal A, the Marine Air Terminal. It now serves only private flights, through Modern Aviation. The chauffeur waits in the Modern Aviation lobby with a name sign. Private flights are not tracked automatically, so the passenger or crew should call dispatch if the arrival time changes.
At Terminals B and C you can also ask for a meet and greet: the chauffeur waits at baggage claim with a name sign, for an extra charge. After an airline flight lands, the chauffeur waits up to 60 minutes after a domestic flight and 90 minutes after an international one at no charge, then waiting is billed by the minute. For airlines, gates and amenities, our guide to LaGuardia’s terminals goes into more detail.
When the text-and-pickup routine works, it looks like this review from a couple coming home through LaGuardia:
“Steven was perfect! We walked out of the terminal and he was right there waiting, We couldn’t ask for anything more.” (Thomas K., Google review)
Drive Times Across the River to North Jersey
These are the times our dispatchers plan with. The rush-hour column is where the George Washington Bridge and the Cross Bronx make the difference:
| Between LaGuardia and | Normal traffic | Rush hour |
|---|---|---|
| Fort Lee | 30 to 40 min | 55 to 80 min |
| Hackensack | 40 to 50 min | 1 h 5 min to 1 h 30 min |
| Rochelle Park / Paramus | 40 to 55 min | 1 h 10 min to 1 h 30 min |
| Ridgewood | 45 to 60 min | 1 h 15 min to 1 h 40 min |
| Jersey City (Exchange Place) | 45 to 60 min | 1 h 15 min to 1 h 30 min |
| JFK Airport | 30 to 45 min | 1 h to 1 h 15 min |
| Newark Airport | 50 to 65 min | 1 h 20 min to 1 h 50 min |
If you are flying home to Bergen County and have a choice of flights, one that lands before 3 p.m. or after 7 p.m. usually saves 20 to 30 minutes on the drive back across the bridge. When traffic does build, dispatch handles it before you are in the car. A typical Friday evening: a client lands at Terminal C while the George Washington Bridge is backed up. Dispatch sees the traffic before the chauffeur leaves the airport, picks the faster crossing for that evening and tells the client the updated arrival time, so the family at home knows when to expect them.
Our chauffeurs watch the same traffic reports, as one passenger noticed on the way home:
“Great driver. On time. Listened to traffic warnings on the radio and avoided a jam!” (Beverly D., Google review)
Starting Fares Between LaGuardia and New Jersey

Three other rides we book often from LaGuardia, by sedan:
- to JFK, for a connecting international flight: $157.11* (SUV $228.04*)
- to Newark Airport: $201.22*
- to The Glasshouse in Manhattan, a frequent venue for conferences and receptions: $158.44*
*Estimated one-way starting prices from our online booking form (September 2026). Bridge and tunnel tolls and parking are added, a gratuity of at least 15% is added to every reservation, and a meet and greet charge applies when requested.
Rides into the city start at the same level; the drive from LaGuardia into Manhattan has its own page with neighborhoods and timing. Onward flights are planned with our rides between JFK and the other airports and our Newark Airport pickups, and receptions at venues like The Glasshouse are coordinated through our meeting and event transportation.
Leaving From Bergen County for a Flight at LaGuardia
Airlines generally ask passengers to arrive two hours before a domestic flight and three hours before an international one. For the drive from Bergen County to LaGuardia, add the drive time above to that window: from Rochelle Park, dispatch usually suggests a pickup 3 hours before a domestic departure, and more at rush hour. A sedan suits up to three passengers with standard luggage; an SUV takes up to six, or fewer with extra bags; and teams, school groups and event crews travel in a 23-passenger minibus or a 55-passenger motorcoach, planned through our group transportation.
An anxious first-time solo flyer got help all the way to the check-in kiosk:
“In short, he navigated airport traffic, found an alternate approach, led us on foot to check in and only left my side after wisking me through the check in kiosk. I couldn’t have asked for more.” (Jane B., Google review)
What Dispatch Needs to Book Your LaGuardia Ride
To reserve an LGA car service, send your airline, flight number, terminal if you know it, number of passengers and bags, and whether you want a meet and greet. Travelers heading to and from all three New York airports have given Air Brook a 4.9 Google rating from more than 875 reviews.

Wheelchairs, Minimum Times, Surcharges and Child Seats
Can you drive a traveler who uses a wheelchair?
We do not have wheelchair-accessible vehicles. Travelers who can move from a wheelchair to a seat can ride in a sedan or SUV, and the chauffeur puts a folding wheelchair in the trunk; tell us when booking so we send a vehicle with enough space. For travelers who must stay in their wheelchair during the ride, we suggest a specialized accessible transportation service. Service animals ride at no extra charge.
Is there a minimum booking time for a LaGuardia ride?
Not for an airport transfer, which is priced point to point. Minimums apply only when you book by the hour: 4 hours for a sedan, 5 hours for an SUV, van, Sprinter, or 23-passenger minibus, and 6 hours for larger buses, counted from garage to garage.
Are there surcharges for late-night or holiday pickups?
Yes. A pickup between midnight and 4:59 a.m. costs $25 extra, and on major holidays a surcharge of at least $50 applies, each plus gratuity.
Can I bring a child seat or a pet?
Child seats cost $15 each, and the parent installs the seat. Pets are welcome in a crate or carrier; mention them when you book.
