Alpine Car Service

Discretion, space and quiet define daily life in Alpine, the borough on the Palisades cliffs at the northeastern edge of Bergen County. Schedules here stretch between private flights, Midtown meetings and evenings at the clubs, and the ride in between should not interrupt any of it. Private Departures from Teterboro, About 20 Minutes Away

Teterboro is the closest airport to Alpine and the one our clients here use for private flights. Our chauffeurs go most often to Signature Flight Support, Atlantic Aviation, Jet Aviation and Meridian. The chauffeur waits in the FBO lobby with a name sign, and when the FBO allows it and it is arranged in advance through the FBO, the car can meet the aircraft on the ramp. Each private terminal has its own entrance, so please give us the name of the FBO when you book; the chauffeur then goes straight to the right lobby.

Chauffeurs plan to be at the FBO before the scheduled arrival, so an early landing is usually not a problem. Private flights are not tracked automatically, and waiting is billed by the minute from the scheduled pickup time, so if the flight is running late, a quick call or text from the passenger, the assistant or the crew lets us move the time. Drive Times from Alpine to the Airports and Midtown

These are the ranges our dispatch plans with from Alpine, and the pickup time we recommend before a flight:

For airline flights, dispatch follows your arrival and moves the pickup with any delay, and the chauffeur waits up to 60 minutes after a domestic landing and up to 90 minutes after an international one at no extra charge. Office Runs and Client Dinners in Manhattan

Alpine clients book us for early office runs, client dinners and full days of meetings in the city. From Alpine, our chauffeurs take the Palisades Interstate Parkway to the George Washington Bridge, then the Henry Hudson Parkway for the West Side and Midtown, or the Harlem River Drive and the FDR Drive for the East Side. The times to avoid are about 7:00 to 9:30 a.m. going in and 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. coming out, when the bridge approaches back up: a 6:30 a.m. pickup usually reaches Midtown in 35 to 45 minutes, while an 8:00 a.m. pickup can take over an hour.

For a day of meetings with several stops, a car and chauffeur can be booked by the hour, and companies that book regularly can set up corporate accounts for executive travel.

Private Events at Montammy Golf Club and Alpine Country Club

Our chauffeurs know both clubs well. The trips are mostly private events and member functions at Montammy Golf Club in Alpine and at Alpine Country Club, which is in neighboring Demarest and also hosts weddings. Questions Alpine Families Ask

Can you provide a child seat, and can we bring the dog?

Yes. Child seats cost $15 each and are requested when booking, and the parent installs the seat. Pets travel in a crate or carrier and must be mentioned when booking; service animals ride free.

Does a pre-dawn pickup at an Alpine estate for an early flight cost extra?

Pickups between midnight and 4:59 a.m. carry a $25 surcharge, plus gratuity. With our suggested pickup 3.5 hours before a domestic JFK flight, a JFK departure before 8:30 a.m. puts the car at your gate in that window.

How long will the chauffeur wait at the house?

For pickups that are not at an airport, the first 15 minutes of waiting are free. After that, waiting is billed by the minute.
