Westchester Airport Car Service

Westchester County Airport (HPN), just north of White Plains, is the calm alternative to the big New York airports: one small terminal, short security lines, and flights from JetBlue, Delta, and American, plus private aviation on both sides of the field. The travelers we drive here are mostly business people heading to offices in White Plains, Purchase, Greenwich, and Stamford, families from Rockland County and northern Bergen County who like the short lines, and executives flying private. Our Westchester Airport car service runs from our dispatch office in Rochelle Park, New Jersey, and every trip is timed around the flight.

How Your Chauffeur Meets You at HPN’s Single Terminal

The arrivals curb at HPN is short, and cars are not allowed to sit there. Instead, your chauffeur waits nearby in the airport’s cell phone lot or the parking garage and watches your flight. Text when you have your bags, or when you walk out with carry-on only, and the chauffeur pulls up outside baggage claim within a few minutes. Your confirmation shows the chauffeur’s name and cell number, so you can call if you do not see the car.

That is how one recent arrival met her chauffeur at the curb:

“Brandon kept in contact with me from the time I landed to when I met him curbside. Very professional and courteous.” (Edwina R., Google review)

If you would rather be met inside, ask for a meet and greet when you book. The chauffeur stands right at baggage claim with a name sign, helps with the bags, and walks you to the car, which is parked in the garage across from the terminal. A meet and greet charge is added to the quote when you request it.

Watching the flight is part of the job, and one client found her chauffeur waiting after a return flight was delayed twice:

“Super reliable, always on time, have never ever had an issue- even when my return flight was delayed 2x. My driver (Amro) was waiting for me.” (Monica R., Google review)

Private Flights at Signature Aviation and Million Air

For private flights, our chauffeurs serve the FBOs on both sides of the airport: Signature Aviation, with HPN East on Hangar Road and HPN West on Tower Road, and Million Air on Tower Road. The chauffeur waits in the FBO lobby with a name sign, and if the FBO permits ramp access and the arrangement is made in advance, the car can meet the aircraft directly on the ramp. Private flights are not tracked automatically, so the passenger, an assistant, or the crew should call dispatch if the arrival time changes.

Drive Times and Fares to HPN From Rockland and Bergen County

For most of Rockland County and northern Bergen County, HPN is the closest commercial airport. These are the times our dispatchers work with, the pickup we recommend before a morning flight, and the starting one-way prices for a car service to HPN:

From Normal / rush hour Pickup before a morning flight Sedan SUV
Nanuet 30 to 40 min / 45 min to 1 h 2 h before departure $166.88* $237.51*
Pearl River 30 to 40 min / 45 min to 1 h 5 min 2 h before departure $178.64* $249.27*
Spring Valley 35 to 45 min / 50 min to 1 h 10 min 2 h before departure $163.74* $234.37*
Rochelle Park / Paramus 45 to 55 min / 1 h 5 min to 1 h 30 min 2.5 h before departure $166.05* $231.75*
Saddle River / Upper Saddle River 40 to 50 min / 1 h to 1 h 20 min 2 h 15 min before departure $166.05* $231.75*

*Estimated one-way prices from our online booking form (September 2026). Tolls and parking are added, and a gratuity of at least 15% is added to every reservation.

The route depends on where you live and the time of day. From Rochelle Park, Paramus, Hackensack, and the southern half of Bergen County, our chauffeurs usually take the George Washington Bridge, then the Hutchinson River Parkway or I-95 north to I-287. From Rockland and northern Bergen, including Saddle River, Upper Saddle River, Montvale, and Mahwah, they typically take the Garden State Parkway or Route 17 to the Thruway.

From there, they cross the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge and continue east on I-287. When the George Washington Bridge approach or the Cross Bronx is jammed, especially on weekday mornings, afternoons, and Friday afternoons, chauffeurs from central Bergen often switch to the Cuomo Bridge even though it adds a few miles. Dispatch checks traffic before pickup, and the chauffeur makes the final call on the road.

HPN’s security lines are usually short, but the early departure bank from 6 to 8 a.m. fills the checkpoint quickly, so for those flights, plan to be at the airport 1.5 hours before departure. More about rides around the county is on our Rockland County hub, and for towns south of the state line, on our Bergen County service area page.

From HPN to Manhattan, JFK and Westchester Hotels

HPN is under 10 miles from downtown White Plains, about 16 to 17 miles by road from Stamford, and about 35 miles from Midtown. Starting prices for the trips we run most often:

  • HPN to Midtown Manhattan: 45 min to 1 h, or 1 h 10 min to 1 h 40 min at rush hour; sedan $209.37*, SUV $280.01*
  • HPN to JFK: 50 min to 1 h 10 min, or 1 h 20 min to 2 h at rush hour; sedan $186.09*
  • HPN to The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester: sedan $101.77*
  • HPN to the Westchester Marriott in Tarrytown: sedan $109.62*

*Estimated one-way prices from our online booking form, confirmed by Air Brook in September 2026. Tolls, parking, and a gratuity of at least 15% are added.

HPN’s commercial flights are domestic, so travelers heading overseas often connect from a regional flight into HPN to an international departure at JFK. Plan at least 5 hours between landing at HPN and the international departure, and 6 hours on a weekday afternoon: 20 to 30 minutes for bags at HPN, 1 to 2 hours on the Hutchinson River Parkway, the Whitestone or Throgs Neck Bridge, and the Van Wyck, and the 3 hours the airlines recommend at JFK for an international flight.

If your trip is more than one ride, a car can stay with you between a meeting at the Westchester Marriott and a show at the Capitol Theatre with our chauffeur by the hour.

Children, Pets and Larger Groups on an HPN Ride

  • Child seats cost $15 each, and the parent installs the seat; our chauffeurs are not allowed to install them.
  • Pets are welcome when declared at booking and travel in a crate or carrier; service animals ride free. There is no pet fee, and a cleaning charge applies only if the vehicle needs cleaning after the ride (minimum $150 for a sedan or SUV).
  • Vehicle size: a sedan carries up to 3 passengers, an SUV up to 6, a Mercedes Sprinter up to 14, such as a wedding party or a flight crew, and a minibus handles school trips and corporate teams.

Delays, Extra Stops and Other HPN Details

What if my flight is delayed or arrives early at HPN?

We track every commercial flight, so the pickup follows your actual landing time. After landing, the chauffeur waits up to 60 minutes at no extra charge, the rule that applies at HPN since its commercial flights are domestic. Please let us know if your flight number or arrival airport changes.

Can I make stops on the way to or from HPN?

Yes, stops can be arranged ahead of time, for example, to pick up a colleague. Tell us when you book; additional charges may apply depending on the distance and length of each stop.

Is there a surcharge for a pickup before a 6 a.m. departure?

Pickups between midnight and 4:59 a.m. carry a $25 surcharge plus gratuity.

How long does the chauffeur wait at my home or office?

The first 15 minutes are free for pickups that are not at an airport, and waiting after that is billed by the minute.
