Our 23-passenger mini bus gives a mid-sized group more comfort on longer trips than a van can. Whether you are planning a mini bus rental in New Jersey for a company event or a private city tour, it is sized for groups too large for one van and too small to fill a coach. Like every vehicle in our fleet, it is always driven by a professional Air Brook chauffeur.
Seats, Carry-Ons and Suitcases: What Fits
The bus seats up to 23 passengers. With every seat taken, there is room for everyone’s carry-on bags and a limited number of large suitcases in the luggage area at the back of the bus. It is not built for a large suitcase per passenger, so for an airport trip where everyone checks a big bag, we suggest the 37-passenger mini bus, which has luggage space under the floor for all passengers. Tell us the number and size of the bags when you book and we will confirm the right vehicle.

How We Keep the Bus Road-Ready and Clean
Every vehicle is cleaned inside and out and checked, including tires, lights and fluids, before it goes out. Maintenance follows a mileage schedule, and any vehicle with a problem stays in our garage until it is fixed.

Weddings, Company Days, Team Trips and Airport Groups

Two typical trips show how groups use it. A wedding shuttle for about 20 guests ran between their hotel and the reception for 6 hours, with the last run leaving right after the last dance. A company team of 22 rode from its office in Bergen County to an offsite day in Manhattan and back, on an 8-hour booking.

Choosing Between 23, 37 and 55 Seats

For about 20 to 23 people with only small bags, a 23-passenger bus is the right fit. When the group has large suitcases, or the organizer expects a few more guests, we suggest the 37-seat bus instead.
Reserving the Mini Bus for Your Date
Hourly bookings, such as a wedding or a party, have a 5-hour minimum, and every 23-passenger mini bus rental is quoted for your date, route and hours. A gratuity of at least 15% is added to every reservation, including mini bus bookings. Mini bus bookings need 35 days’ notice to cancel, so we suggest booking once the headcount is fairly firm. When you ask for a quote, include the date, the pickup and drop-off points, the number of passengers and bags, and how long you need the bus. Accessibility, Drinks on Board and Party Buses
Does the 23-passenger mini bus have a wheelchair lift?
No. This mini bus does not have a wheelchair lift, so please mention any mobility needs in your group when you ask for a quote.
Can we bring drinks on board for a celebration?
Alcohol is not allowed on the mini bus without our written approval in advance, so plan any toasts for the venue.
Is this the same as a party bus?
No. We do not offer a party bus; for birthdays and bachelor or bachelorette parties, we use our 23- and 37-passenger mini buses, or a Mercedes Sprinter for smaller groups.
