Sporting Event Transportation in New Jersey

On a game day, the hard part is rarely the game. It is the traffic on Route 3, the parking pass, the walk from a far lot and the wait to get out afterward. Our sporting event transportation gives your group a private vehicle and a chauffeur who drops you near the venue and meets you at an agreed spot after the final whistle. Most of the groups we drive are friends and families, company outings with clients or staff, and school and college teams traveling to their own games.

Drop-Off Points and Drive Times for Five New Jersey Venues

These are the venues we drive to most, with the time from our office in Rochelle Park on a normal day and on a game day. Each venue page has the full pickup routine:

Venue Drop-off and pickup Normal day Game day
MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford The stadium’s limo and taxi drop-off and pickup area 15 to 20 min 35 to 60 min
Prudential Center, Newark As close to the arena as the event-night traffic plan allows; after the event, a pickup spot agreed with you nearby 25 to 35 min 45 to 60 min
Sports Illustrated Stadium, Harrison (formerly Red Bull Arena) The drop-off and pickup points around the stadium described on our Harrison page 25 to 35 min 45 to 60 min
SHI Stadium, Piscataway As close to the stadium as the Rutgers game-day traffic plan allows; pickup at a spot agreed by text 45 to 55 min 1 h 10 min to 1 h 30 min
CURE Insurance Arena, Trenton The arena’s main entrance on Hamilton Avenue, with pickup in the same area after the event 1 h 10 min to 1 h 20 min 1 h 30 min to 1 h 50 min

Across the Hudson, we also drive fans often to Madison Square Garden, Yankee Stadium and Citi Field, and closer to home to the Meadowlands Racetrack.

How a Game Day Runs, From the Pickup to the Ride Home

A typical example: a company group of 12 heading to a Sunday game at MetLife Stadium in a Mercedes Sprinter, picked up at their office in Paramus two and a half hours before kickoff. Stadium traffic on Route 3 made the drive twice as long as usual, and they were still dropped off with time to spare. The day follows the same steps for most groups:

  1. Pickup, well ahead of the start. On a game day the drive can take twice as long, so the pickup time is set around the start of the game, using the game-day times in the table above.
  2. Drop-off at the venue’s designated area, as close as that venue’s traffic plan allows.
  3. During the game, the chauffeur either waits nearby in the area the venue sets aside for limos and buses (on an hourly booking) or leaves and comes back at a set time (with two one-way rides).
  4. The pickup spot by text. In the Sprinter example, the chauffeur texted the exact spot at halftime.
  5. After the final whistle, allow 30 to 45 minutes to get out of the stadium and to the car. That company group was back in the Sprinter about 35 minutes after the game ended and home before most of the parking lots had emptied.

Plans after a game do not always go to schedule, as a mother and daughter found after a Knicks game at Madison Square Garden:

“My daughter and I went into city for dinner and Knicks game , did not want to deal with mass transit or uber ! … The driver picking us up waited !! I cannot tell you how gracious that was , we were almost an hour past pick up time .” (Luanne C., Google review)

Hourly Booking or Two One-Way Rides: What Each Costs

With an hourly booking, the chauffeur waits for the whole game and is ready as soon as you walk out, and the waiting is part of the hourly rate. With two one-way rides, the chauffeur leaves after the drop-off and returns at a set time; after 15 free minutes, waiting is billed by the minute. Sample round trips from Rochelle Park in an SUV:

  • Hourly, with the car waiting (MetLife Stadium or Prudential Center): 5 hours for $591.00*, 6 hours for $707.80*
  • Two one-way rides to the Prudential Center: $194.42* each way

The SUV, the Sprinter and the 23-seat mini bus have a 5-hour minimum on an hourly booking and the 37-seat mini bus a 6-hour minimum, counted garage to garage. Sprinter and mini bus prices are quoted on request.

*Starting prices from our online booking form (September 2026), confirmed by Air Brook. Tolls and parking are added, and a gratuity of at least 15% is added to every reservation. Game tickets and stadium parking passes are bought by the client.

Tailgating at MetLife Stadium With Your Own Car Nearby

Tailgating is possible, but it has to be planned with the stadium’s parking rules. You buy the parking pass for the game in advance. A sedan or an SUV fits a regular space, so the car parks in the lot and the group tailgates next to it, while the chauffeur stays with the vehicle. For tailgating we book the ride hourly (sedan 4-hour minimum, SUV 5-hour minimum, garage to garage, plus the parking pass). Vans, Sprinters and buses cannot use regular spaces, so for them we offer drop-off and pickup only. Grills, tents and food stay outside the vehicle.

Matching the Vehicle to the Size of Your Group

The right game day limo in NJ depends on how many people are going and how much gear they bring:

For big games, book the group vehicle early: Sprinters and mini buses are the first to go on weekends with several events in the area. For outings that are not tied to a game, our page on group transportation in New Jersey covers the rest.

Visiting Fans and Traveling Teams

If you are flying in for the game, a chauffeur can meet you at the airport and take you straight to the venue or to your hotel, with room for gear bags and banners; our airport rides across New Jersey and New York cover every major airport in the area. School and college teams traveling to tournaments, meets and away games book with us the same way, and our school and college transportation page explains how we work with coaches and schools. Whether you need a stadium car service in NJ for four friends or a sporting event limo for a company group, we have driven clients since 1971, with licensing and insurance details on our duty of care page.

Game day or not, the standard is the same, as one traveler wrote about her most recent ride:

“We only use Airbrook to help with transportation when we travel. My trip this time did not disappoint. Ivón was on time, courteous, and professional. The car was clean and the ride was easy.” (Ilisa B., Google review)

Those experiences add up to a 4.9 rating on Google from more than 870 reviews.

What Fans Ask Before Game Day

What happens if the game goes to overtime?

Send a quick text to the chauffeur or call dispatch. On an hourly booking, the extra time is billed at the hourly rate; on a one-way return, we move the pickup time.

Can we bring leftover drinks from the tailgate into the vehicle?

Alcohol is not allowed inside our vehicles without our written consent in advance, so ask when you book if it matters to your group. Grills, tents and food from the tailgate also stay outside the vehicle.

Do you also drive to concerts at these venues?

Yes. MetLife Stadium, the Prudential Center and the other venues host concerts too, and the planning is much the same; our page on concert transportation in New Jersey has the details for show nights.
