Night on the Town Limo Service in New Jersey

A good evening out usually has two or three stops: dinner, a show or a drink afterward, and the ride home. Our night on the town limo service in New Jersey is built for couples and small groups of up to six who want the same car and chauffeur for all of it, so nobody circles for parking, waits on a sidewalk for a rideshare, or decides who drives home. It is booked by the hour, and the chauffeur waits nearby between stops.

For a birthday crew of ten or a full-day bachelor or bachelorette itinerary, our party transportation for larger groups is the better fit.

How an Evening Booking Works and What It Costs

Private transportation for a night on the town runs as one of our by-the-hour chauffeur bookings, with a minimum number of hours for each vehicle:

Vehicle Guests Minimum Starting price
Sedan 2 to 3 4 hours $94.90* per hour ($386.60* for 4 hours)
SUV up to 6 5 hours $116.80* per hour ($591.00* for 5 hours)
Mercedes Sprinter up to 14 5 hours Quoted for your evening

*Starting prices from our online booking form (September 2026). The online price includes all fees; tolls, parking, extra stops, and waiting are added, and a gratuity of at least 15% is added to every reservation.

While you are at dinner or the show, the chauffeur waits nearby and is ready when you come out. Where the car cannot stand at the door, the chauffeur waits around the corner and pulls up when you text. You can add a stop during the evening by telling the chauffeur, and if the night runs long, extra time is billed at the same hourly rate, as long as the chauffeur’s schedule allows staying longer.

Plans do not always end on time, and one mother who took her daughter into the city wrote about her chauffeur waiting for them:

“My daughter and I went into city for dinner and Knicks game , did not want to deal with mass transit or uber ! … And greater yet ? The driver picking us up waited !! I cannot tell you how gracious that was , we were almost an hour past pick up time .” (Luanne C., Google review)

Evenings Our Clients Book Most, With Drive Times

These are the nights out our clients return to, with drive times from our garage in Rochelle Park and the usual length of the booking:

Evening Drive from Rochelle Park Typical booking
Dinner in Englewood and a show at bergenPAC 15 to 20 min about 4 hours
Dinner on Bloomfield Avenue and a show at the Wellmont Theater in Montclair 25 to 35 min about 4 hours
Dinner and drinks in Hoboken 30 to 45 min, longer on Friday and Saturday evenings about 4 hours
Cocktails at the RoofTop at Exchange Place, before or after dinner in Jersey City 25 to 35 min set around your dinner
Dinner and a Broadway show in Manhattan 35 to 50 min to Times Square, up to 1 h 15 min on Friday evenings 5 to 6 hours
Comedy at the Stress Factory in New Brunswick 45 to 60 min 5 to 6 hours
Live music at The Stone Pony or Asbury Lanes in Asbury Park 1 h 15 min to 1 h 30 min 5 to 6 hours

NJPAC in Newark is another stage our evening clients book often. The Hoboken night is one of our most booked. For the Shore and New Brunswick, the longer booking simply reflects the drive each way.

Finding Your Car When the Broadway Curtain Comes Down

Cars cannot wait in front of the theaters in Midtown, and traffic barely moves at the theater doors right after a show. This is how our chauffeurs handle a Broadway pickup:

  1. During the show, the chauffeur parks nearby.
  2. About 15 minutes before the curtain comes down, the chauffeur texts you the exact pickup spot, usually a corner on the nearest avenue a block away from the theater crowd, with the car and the plate.
  3. You walk to that corner instead of waiting at the theater doors, and the car is there.

Manhattan pickups after a performance are the hardest part of the evening, and a client leaving a show described being found outside Lincoln Center:

“Driver performed well in extremely difficult circumstances (found me in the heavy traffic outside Lincoln Center in Manhattan) and was courteous and friendly throughout.” (Barbara G., Google review)

A 25th Anniversary: Midtown Dinner, a Show and Home Before Midnight

A typical Broadway evening: a couple celebrating their 25th anniversary booked a sedan from their home in Bergen County at 5 p.m. The chauffeur drove them to dinner in Midtown and on to their show, was waiting at a corner on Eighth Avenue when it let out, and had them home before midnight, about six hours in all. Anniversaries and birthdays like this one are when clients most often book a date night car service in New Jersey with us for a Broadway evening.

Choosing the Car for Two, Four or Six

A sedan suits two or three people and gives a quiet cabin for a date or a business dinner. An SUV fits up to six with room for coats on a winter night, which makes it the usual night out limo in New Jersey for two couples or a small group of friends. If a few more friends join, a Mercedes Sprinter carries up to 14 on the same hourly basis.

Reserving Saturdays, Holidays and New Year’s Eve

For a Saturday evening, book a few days ahead, and a few weeks ahead for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and New Year’s Eve. New Year’s Eve after 4 p.m. also carries a holiday surcharge. When you book, tell us the pickup time, the restaurant and the venue, and roughly when you expect to head home. Across every kind of trip, our riders have given us a 4.9 rating in more than 870 reviews on Google.

Hours, Late Pickups and Drinks: Evening Questions

When do the booked hours start and end?

Hours are counted garage to garage, from the time the car leaves our garage until it returns, so the drive to your first pickup and back after the last drop-off is part of the booking.

Is there an extra charge if we are picked up after midnight?

Yes. Pickups scheduled between midnight and 4:59 a.m. carry a $25 surcharge plus gratuity.

Can we have a bottle of champagne in the car?

Alcohol is not allowed in our vehicles without our prior written consent, so plan the toast for the restaurant or the venue.
